Oh my god!
Chris and I went to Opening Day this year. Absolutely spectacular.
The best part of about being a Sox fan isn't that we won(wooooo!), but that there's a lot more to being a Sox fan than most people ouside of the city think.
Usually the general public has a bad vibe about us. Usually those that have a bad vibe about us also only support their team when it's convenient (see: in the playoffs)
That's why nothing beats being in Fenway with everyone else who just "gets it". We know what baseball really is about.
Strangely enough, only one other section of fans "get it" too. And even weirder, they are the ones we hate the most. And that's why it's great they exist too.
The Sox won the rivalry today, one rivalry I hope never ends.
